DuClaw Brewing Company (“DuClaw,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides this privacy policy (“Policy”) to describe how we collect, use, and share the information provided by and gathered about individuals who visit our promotional website at (collectively, the “Site”) and participate in the Give a Crap Challenge Promotion (“Promotion”). Each time that you access or use the Site, you agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree to the terms of this Policy, you should discontinue using the Site.

What information do we collect?

This Site collects your name, phone number, email address, birth date, and mailing address when you submit an entry for our Promotion. We collect this information to verify eligibility, contact winners, and/or to send special offers.

No credit card information is collected or stored in any way.

Your medical information (including results of the fecal immunochemical test and any other information defined as “Protected Health Information” under HIPAA laws and regulations) is handled by a secure third-party supplier for regulatory compliance and we do not collect or store this information in any way. Specifics about the information this supplier collects and how they use and secure it will be available via email and delivered in print with the fecal immunochemical test if you are selected to receive it. You will have access to these specifics before any medical information is collected, and you should not proceed with the collection of your fecal immunochemical test sample if you have concerns about the privacy policy that you receive with the test kit.

How is this information used?

Your mailing address is used to fulfill your Prize Package if you are selected in the Promotion.

Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address will be shared with a third-party suppliers to facilitate the delivery of the fecal immunochemical test. Neither DuClaw nor any promotional affiliate or partner will have access to medical data or “Protected Health Information” as defined under HIPAA laws and regulations, and it is never sold.

Your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and birth date will be shared with CraftShack to issue you an electronic gift card, if you are selected as a winner. Note that CraftShack requires a valid U.S. driver’s license or other legal form of identification for any delivery of alcohol.

Email addresses collected via the Promption are used to create a mailing list that we use to send communications to our entrants. You may opt-out of this by clicking the unsubscribe link in the footer of each email. If you do not opt-out, you may receive emails about the Promotions. We also use this email address the contact the winners of the Promotion.

Is this information sold or shared?

We may share your name, email, mailing address, birthdate, and/or phone number with certain third-party partners of this Promotion. These partners—with links to their respective websites—are indicated on the Site. We will not share or sell your information beyond these specific third-party partners.
